You can
enter and browse the shop without any commitment to purchase.
2. Read about the Book and Magazines
Feel free to browse through the descriptions of the book and any other items
that may be for sale from time to time.
For each item you will be able to find out its price and
shipping
charges, if any. There
will be a link to a detailed product description
that you can read.
3. Select the Products that you are interested in
When you've found a product that you wish to buy, click the "Add to
Shopping
Basket" button to put it in your "Shopping Basket".
Adding an item to your basket does not mean that you have bought it. The
Shopping Basket page saves a list of the items you're interested in, until you
want to go ahead and order.
The
shopping basket uses 'cookies' to save your order information. The shop will not
function correctly if you have cookies disabled on your browser, or with certain
settings of some firewall or personal internet security products.
At any time you can click on the "View Basket" button to
see what you have chosen so far and
what the total price is, before
delivery charges.
You can delete any items that you no longer wish to buy, and
alter the quantities.
You can then either continue browsing the shop and selecting goods, or, when
you're happy with what you've chosen, click the "Checkout"
button to begin ordering.
4.
Place Your
Order
You need to give us your name, address, e-mail address and payment details to
make a purchase
or a donation. Remember, if you're not happy or have changed your mind, you
can alter any part of your order by using the
"Back" button of your browser to
return to the "Shopping
Basket" and
change the quantity.
The online
shopping facility of this site only accepts credit and debit card payment.
We welcome
cheque or
postal order
payment, but
only via our Off-line Order Form.
Cheques or postal orders must be in pounds sterling.
The first
screen of the "Checkout" sequence asks for your Country and, for USA
and Canadian purchasers, your State. This is to enable the correct postage to be
calculated. Press 'Next' after you have entered this information.
The next screen asks for your address, e-mail address and telephone number so
that we can send the goods to the correct address and contact you in the event
of a problem. This screen also displays the goods that you have purchased
and now includes the postage charges.
Press 'Next' after you have entered the information requested.
The next screen shows your full purchases again and may request some consumer
information to help us improve our service. Entry of this information is
entirely optional.
Pressing 'Next' then takes you to a transition screen. There may be a pop-up box
at this point (depending on your browser security settings), informing you that
you are about to be directed to a secure area. If the box appears, click
'OK', otherwise please wait to be redirected.
5.
Complete Your Purchase
The next
screen shows that you have been connected to the 'WorldPay' secure server.
You will see a padlock to signify the secure transmission. This screen
asks for your credit card details and confirmation of some of the address
information.
You may choose to make payment by
credit card
in pounds sterling, US Dollars or
Euros and the amount to be debited is shown on the payment page. Your payment will be
charged to you by your bank in your local currency at the exchange rate
prevailing at the time that the transaction is completed by our e-commerce
payment bureau service.
Make a final check of your order details - you can still return to the
products area to add items or to the shopping cart to delete items and check the
total spend. When you are happy to continue, click the 'Make
Payment' button to
complete the transaction.
Please
note - At any point prior to clicking on the 'Make Payment' button you can
change what you have ordered, amend your contact details or even abandon the
entire purchase. Only when you click on 'Make Payment' are your credit card
details sent to our Payment Service Provider.
6.
Note your Order Details
Your credit card is then checked and debited
on-line by our e-commerce payment bureau service. You will then be taken
to a page which shows that your payment has been accepted.
You can print this page, or simply note the
Merchant's Reference number (which is IBS Research Appeal's unique number for
the transaction) and the WorldPay Transaction ID.
From this page
you should
then follow the
'View Merchant Receipt' link to the receipt page, which displays a printable, itemised
receipt
showing detail of all of the items you have ordered, the price paid (including
postage), and the Order (Merchant's Reference) number.
The receipt also gives full contact details for IBS Research Appeal's
distribution partners who have the task of packing and posting your order. You should print this page for your records.
Next, click on the 'Done' button
which will take you to our 'Thank-you' page from which you can return to the
on-line shop or to the main site.
Subsequently you will receive two e-mails, one from IBS Research Appeal giving
details of your order, and the other from 'WorldPay' confirming your successful credit card transaction.
If you
do not receive both of these e-mails within 48 hours of placing your order
please send an e-mail stating your order number and WorldPay transaction number
